Plenary Indulgence
- To be in the state of grace.
- To have the intention of gaining the indulgence.
- To perform the indulgenced work, to pray an Our Father, a Hail Mary, and a Glory Be for the intentions of the Holy Father, and to confess one’s sins and receive Communion with the intention of gaining the indulgence within several days (about 20) before or after the indulgenced act.
- To be free from all attachment to sin, even venial sin.
